The State of Ohio is transitioning to a state-of-the-art hiring management system and launching a new Web site to search for career opportunities in state government, Careers.Ohio.gov.
If you currently have an applicant profile in OLEAP (On-line Employment Application Process), please read the following information, and take action as required.
The last day to apply for jobs or register for a civil service exam through this Web site is June 20, 2008. Starting June 25, 2008, you will be able to apply for jobs and register for civil service exams through our new Web site, Careers.Ohio.gov.
Please note: If you’ve created a profile in OLEAP, it will not be transferred to the new Careers Web site. You must create a username and password for the Careers.Ohio.gov Web site and complete a new profile. In addition, you must have an email address to register. Aol.com, Yahoo.com, and many others offer free email accounts. We recommend printing your saved OLEAP profile and any saved job/civil service exam applications and postings, you wish to keep, by June 24, 2008. Printing this information will assist you in creating a profile in the new system. Please click on link below for instructions on printing your saved OLEAP profile.
